The Shaw church development pipeline is seemingly heating up.
As tweeted by Shaw Rez, New Bethel Baptist Church has seemingly partnered with a developer for a project on their Foster House site at 9th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW (map).
Developer-partner Evergreen Urban is working on a 215-unit mixed-income development. The project would provide 85 below-grade parking spaces, and amenities will include a gym and a lounge on the roof. The development is expected to deliver in 2023.
